A bright young light in the art of dance

Simza's dance has often been described as like water, and her performances capture a lyrical flow that has appeared instinctive since she was very young, winning her first solos in Istanbul and London at ages 10 and 11. From the moment she began dancing at 9, Simza has displayed undeniable talent, a captivating stage appeal, and commitment to her art, spending all her time in the studio, attending workshops and intensive trainings, and competing nationally and internationally. Her magnetic presence, natural focus and subtle engagement with audiences express a physical communication that enchants, sharing wordless stories that generate a powerful response.

Recent achievments

Simza's gift and dedication has taken her from strength to strength, and at the Dance World Cup world finals 2024 in Prague she won 5th place with her Jazz solo and 9th place with her own contemporary solo piece, Anatomy . There she was also awarded scholarships for masterclass training in both Brighton, UK and Barcelona, Spain. For the 7th year running she won 1st place with her solo at the Turkish National Federation (TDSF) 2024 dance awards, and solo 1st place with gala performance invitations, course scholarship and Best Young Choreographer award 2025 at the celebrated diArt International Berussa Ballet & Contemporary Dance winter events 2024 and 2025.

Current projects

With her brilliant success at auditions this year, Simza is honoured and very excited to be enrolling at Rambert School on their FD/BA Hons Ballet & Contemporary Dance course in September 2025. She was also offered places on BA Hons courses at LCDS (The Place) and London Studio Centre, who also awarded her their Scholarship for Exceptional Talent. Other fantastic news is that Simza has received a generous grant from a private arts foundation which will substantially support her tuition fees over her 3 years training. This pledge and the incredible support she has received through GoFundMe is making Simza's journey possible, while she and her community continue to work towards securing sponsorship and funding.
